Summary
The Municipality of Red Lake is currently accepting applications for the following positions: Volunteer Fire Fighter - All Stations We are seeking motivated and committed individuals who live and work within our community to strengthen our existing group of dedicated Volunteer Firefighters. Volunteer Firefighters attend to many different types of emergencies including; structure fire, bush and grass fire, and well as motor vehicle accidents. Minimum Qualifications required for consideration for Volunteer Fire Fighters: - Must be able to meet the physical requirements of this demanding position - Familiarity with General Level Firefighting Program would be an asset - Must have a grade 12 diploma or the equivalency - Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and a requirement to obtain a DZ endorsement within one year - Hold a current and valid First Aid/CPR certificate - Willingness to commit to a minimum of 2 to 3 hours weekly - Mental alertness, ability to get along well with others, mechanical aptitude, conscientious, dependable and willingness to perform tasks assigned are all considered assets for these positions.
