Days and Hours of Operation
The Red Lake Early Learning Centre opens at 7:30 am and closes at 5:30 pm, Monday through Friday.
St. John's Early Learning Centre opens at 7:30 am and closes at 5:15 pm, Monday through Friday.
The Balmertown Early Learning Centre opens at 6:45 am and closes at 5:15 pm, Monday through Friday.
All centres are closed on all recognized holidays. Note: if the holiday falls on Saturday or Sunday, the holiday will be taken on Monday.

Best Start Hub
The Best Start Hub is a place for families to engage in meaningful interactions in an environment suited to the needs of children 0-6 years of age.
Featured programs, all free of charge, include craft, snack and circle time, visits out in our community, indoor gym time during the cold winter months, evening programs and Saturday play days.
Our programming is theme based and our crafts and community visits reflect this. We have guest speakers in to discuss child-related topics with parents and caregivers and to answer any questions they might have.
The Red Lake Best Start Hub is a great place to meet new families in the community and to further enhance your child’s social, emotional, and language development.
We have three sites to accommodate the families in our communities. Please visit us at 9 Hammell Rd (Red Lake Recreation Centre) in Red Lake, at 16 Mine Road (Downstairs at the Golden Learning School - room 11) in Balmertown or at the Cochenour Hall on Edward Street beside the Arena.
